Salman Khan and his latest release ‘Sultan’ seem to be like an unstoppable twister that has taken box office by storm. After breaking numerous records of his rivals and his own previous films too, ‘Sultan’ finally made a proud entry in the unimaginable Rs 300-crore club. ‘Sultan’ became the third film to enter into this prestigious club after Aamir Khan’s ‘PK’ and Salman’s ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’. With the way, the film was welcomed by the audience, it was touted to make a grand entry in the club a while ago. But like they say, better late than never. After his fifth week, Sultan made 299.90 crore which includes Friday’s collection of Rs 24 lakh, Saturday’s Rs 49 lakh and Sunday’s Rs 78 lakh and Monday’s 16 lakh. Interestingly, Salman is the only actor to have two films making over Rs 300 crore at Indian box office. Well, he isn’t called the ‘Sultan’ of box office for nothing. Let’s wait and watch if his next film with Kabir Khan, ‘Tubelight’ manages to outdo the box office numbers of ‘Sultan’ and ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’. Only time would tell!
